EU-Startups has compiled a list of ten films that offer entertainment and inspiration during summer holidays, exploring entrepreneurship, innovation, ambition, and the realities of building a business from various angles.

EU-Startups has published a list of ten films suitable for watching during the summer break, while also providing insights into entrepreneurship, innovation, and ambition. The list includes both dramatized true stories and fictional plots that reveal the art of leadership, negotiation, and decision-making.

"Air" (2023) follows Nike executive Sonny Vaccaro as he convinces the company to sign an unprecedented deal with rookie basketball player Michael Jordan, despite Nike trailing Adidas and Converse. "The Apprentice" (2024) chronicles Donald Trump's early business career in New York, focusing on his mentorship under lawyer Roy Cohn and personal branding.

"Flamin' Hot" (2023) tells the story of Frito-Lay employee Richard Montañez, who, inspired by Mexican-American flavors, develops a new product and tries to push it within the company. "Bank of Dave" (2023) is based on true events, where businessman Dave Fishwick attempts to establish a community bank, facing resistance from regulators and traditional financial institutions.
