Voter turnout in 15th Saeima election lowest in parliamentary history
About 790,000 people, or 50.81% of eligible voters, cast ballots in the 15th Saeima election — the lowest turnout ever recorded in parliamentary elections. The figures come from 995 of 1,059 polling stations.

According to data compiled by the Central Election Commission (CVK), at least 790,000 eligible voters took part in the 15th Saeima election, representing 50.81% of all those entitled to vote.
These figures were gathered from 995 polling stations out of a total of 1,059 across the country.
A record low
The CVK notes that this level of voter turnout is the lowest ever recorded in Saeima elections. This means a smaller share of eligible voters exercised their right to vote than in any previous parliamentary election in Latvia's history.
Full results will be compiled once data from all 1,059 polling stations has been received.
