Ukraine’s military continues to expand its campaign against Russia’s shadow fleet in the Azov Sea, which is used for fuel shipments. Over the past four days, strikes have destroyed or damaged 35 vessels. The latest targets include 12 riverine tankers, as well as a cargo ship and a tug.

This operation is part of broader efforts to disrupt Russian military logistics and reduce its ability to supply fuel to units in the region. Shadow fleet vessels often operate without proper registration and insurance, making them difficult to track.

It is not yet known whether all 35 vessels were completely destroyed or only damaged, but Ukrainian officials confirm that the strikes have significantly impacted Russia’s ability to supply fuel in the Azov Sea area. The campaign continues, with Ukrainian forces vowing to persist until all Russian military logistics at sea are disrupted.
