Missing 16-year-old Marija Novikova sought in Ādaži municipality
Latvian State Police are searching for Marija Novikova, born in 2009, who disappeared from her home in Carnikava parish on August 27. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 112.
The Northern Pierīga unit of the Riga Regional Police Department has launched a search for a teenager who went missing in Ādaži municipality. Marija Novikova, born in 2009, left her home in Carnikava parish on August 27, and her whereabouts have remained unknown since then.
Police say the missing girl has a tendency to wander and may behave aggressively. A distinguishing feature noted is a tattoo under her left eye.
Appearance
Marija is about 168 centimeters tall with short red hair. At the time of her disappearance she was wearing a grey hooded jacket and black trousers, and was carrying a black bag.
The State Police is asking anyone with information about the young woman's possible whereabouts to contact them immediately by calling the emergency number 112.
