On Monday, July 6, rescue services recovered a deceased person from the sea in Ādaži municipality and handed them over to the State Police, the State Fire and Rescue Service (VUGD) reported.

Shortly before 11:00 AM, VUGD responded to Rudbārži parish in Kuldīga municipality, where a person had gotten lost in the forest. Using an unmanned aerial vehicle, the individual was found and handed over to the Emergency Medical Service.
At 2:01 PM, a call was received to Līksna parish in Augšdaugava municipality, where two cars collided and one caught fire. A passer-by had already started extinguishing the fire, which firefighters continued. The car burned over an area of 2 m². One person was taken to an ambulance; others had exited the vehicles. At the scene, battery clamps were disconnected and the road was cleared. Operations ended at 2:56 PM.
At 3:37 PM, VUGD was dispatched to Mellužu Street in Riga, where household items were burning on the first floor of a two-story building over 20 m². Four people evacuated before firefighters arrived. The fire was extinguished by 5:11 PM.
At 11:14 PM, a call came from Bilskas parish in Smiltene municipality, where a one-story residential house burned over 100 m². Two people evacuated before VUGD arrived; one suffered injuries. Work ended at 2:13 AM.
