Aelita Covers 1,500 km Along the Mediterranean by Train
A 33-year-old photographer and videographer, Aelita, embarked on an unusual journey, traveling 1,500 km by train through four countries along the Mediterranean coast.

After a cold, gray, and boring winter, Aelita, a 33-year-old photographer and videographer, decided to seek sun and warmth. She chose a train route along the Mediterranean coast, covering about 1,500 kilometers. The trip lasted nearly three weeks, visiting nine cities in four countries.
Aelita is no stranger to train travel – she previously started a project to visit all railway stations in Latvia, setting out without a fixed route, only a camera and a desire to see beauty. This time, inspiration came from a colleague's story about her son, who participated in an EU project and traveled across Europe by train.
In an interview with TVNET+, Aelita shared her experience, noting the most comfortable trains and what to consider when planning such a trip. She emphasizes that this was an unusual way to enjoy the scenic Mediterranean coast – slowly, watching landscapes from the train window.
