Agule and Vilciņš finish seventh at European U23 shooting championship
At the European U23 shooting championship in Wrocław, Latvia's best result in the mixed pairs 25m pistol event came from Kristiāna Agule and Daniels Vilciņš, who placed seventh in the second qualification round.

The European U23 shooting championship took place in the Polish city of Wrocław, where Latvian athletes competed in the mixed pairs 25m sport pistol event as well as in the men's trap shooting SOLO competition.
Best result in the pistol event
Among three Latvian pairs competing in the mixed pairs pistol event, the top result belonged to Kristiāna Agule and Daniels Vilciņš. In the first qualification round they scored 558 points, placing 9th among 14 teams and advancing to the second round. In the second round, after three shooting series, the pair totaled 279 points and finished 7th among eight teams.
Other Latvian pairs' results
Alongside Agule and Vilciņš, two more Latvian pairs took part in this event. Alise Dvarišķe and Dmitrijs Ivanovs scored 556 points in the first qualification round, placing 10th, while Līva Krūmiņa and Kārlis Bleidelis finished 11th with 553 points. Neither pair advanced to the second qualification round.
Trap shooting
In the men's U23 trap shooting SOLO competition, Latvia was represented by Mārtiņš Freimanis and Niklāvs Vēveris. Both athletes took part in the head-to-head matches of the first round but failed to qualify for the fight for top positions, concluding Latvia's participation in the championship.
