Drunk Police Officer Causes Accident in Aizkraukle, Hides, Arrested

A State Police officer in Aizkraukle was arrested on Wednesday evening after causing a traffic accident while under the influence of alcohol and then hiding.

On Wednesday evening in Aizkraukle, a State Police officer caused a traffic accident while intoxicated. After the crash, she attempted to hide. State Police Chief Armands Ruks informed the LETA agency that the officer has been detained. No further details are currently available.
