Latvian actor Enriko Avots, born on November 2, 1952, died on June 14, 2026. He was a member of the Youth Theatre from 1976 to 1992, and later worked at the New Riga Theatre and Latvian Television. His most recognizable role was Varis in the children's show 'Kas te? Es te!'. The Latvian Theatre Workers' Union reported his passing.
