Actors Gints Grāvelis and Andris Bulis release new song "Mēs no Dailes" as duo "GraBulis"
The Daile Theatre actor duo "GraBulis" has released its second single "Mēs no Dailes" with a music video and announced concerts at the Daile music hall in October.

The creative duo "GraBulis", formed by Daile Theatre actors Gints Grāvelis and Andris Bulis, has released their second single titled "Mēs no Dailes" ("We're from Daile"), accompanied by a music video. The new track follows the song "Vecums nenāk viens" ("Age Doesn't Come Alone"), released this spring, and is closely connected to it in style and production.
As with the previous release, musicians Normunds Jakušonoks and Ģirts Lūsis from the band "Labvēlīgais tips" contributed to the composition, while Andris Bulis himself helped write the lyrics. The recording was made at "Labo ierakstu studija" under the guidance of Jānis Kalva and Lotārs Lodziņš, while Artūrs Gruzdiņš was responsible for the music video, filmed inside the Daile Theatre.
Irony and honesty toward the audience
Andris Bulis says the song is self-ironic yet honest toward both the audience and the theatre itself, which he describes as a place where anything is possible. He notes that simplicity is difficult to achieve, but the duo wants to emphasize that their art is centered on the audience — the reason they take the stage at all.
The song's creators describe "Mēs no Dailes" as a continuation of the story that began with their first single, adding that this installment could be followed by yet another. Several new compositions are currently being developed in the studio, and the duo does not rule out eventually releasing a full album.
October concerts
Alongside the new single's release, "GraBulis" invites audiences to their new program "Te un tagad – vairāk par neko!" ("Here and Now – More About Nothing!"), which will be performed at the Daile music hall on October 14 and 25. The concerts will feature both well-known songs and rarely heard tracks.
