Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin, father of eight, has shared a heartfelt wish for his children's future. Speaking to "E! News" at the premiere of his new film "Gaslit" on June 12, the 68-year-old actor said he wants his children to grow up with hope because the world seems more hopeless than ever. He emphasized the importance of persistently facing difficulties and fighting to ensure that power in society ends up in the hands of those who will not abuse it.
With his characteristic humor, Baldwin lightened the serious mood by joking about his old age. He told his children to train and get strong because they will soon have to push their father's wheelchair.
Baldwin and his wife Hilaria (42) have seven children: Carmen (12), Rafael (10), Leonardo (9), Romeo (8), Eduardo (5), Maria Lucia (5), and Ilaria (3). He also has a 30-year-old daughter, Ireland, from his previous relationship with Kim Basinger.
Baldwin has previously admitted that when his children finish school, he will be 80, and he tries not to think about it as he wants more time with his family. Hilaria has commented on their 26-year age gap, saying that many see their relationship as a joke, but in reality, they are equals.
