Dell is currently selling its Alienware AW2726DM gaming monitor for $319.99, a $30 reduction from its regular price of $349.99. This marks the first time the model has been discounted.

The 27-inch display uses QD-OLED panel technology, delivering deep black levels along with vivid, full colors thanks to quantum dots. It supports a 240Hz refresh rate for smooth motion, along with AMD FreeSync Premium Plus, which keeps frame rate and refresh rate synchronized. The Verge describes it as a budget-friendly pick for gamers who don't want to sacrifice contrast or fast response times.

Ports and design

Connectivity is somewhat limited: the monitor includes a single DisplayPort 1.4 input, which supports 240Hz at 2560 x 1440 resolution, plus two HDMI ports capped at 120Hz at the display's peak resolution. It lacks a USB hub or audio jacks, though the outlet notes these aren't essential for PC gaming and can add to a monitor's cost.

The included stand offers height, swivel, tilt, and pivot adjustment, and includes a 100 x 100 VESA mount for those who prefer a different stand or a monitor arm. The monitor also comes with a three-year warranty that covers burn-in.
