Alienware unveils its fastest gaming monitor yet with 560Hz refresh rate

Dell has officially introduced the Alienware AW2527HX gaming monitor, marking the fastest display the brand has ever produced. The monitor delivers a 560Hz refresh rate paired with a 0.03 millisecond gray-to-gray response time — specifications that would be excessive for most everyday users but are highly valued by competitive esports players seeking every possible advantage. The esports organization Team Liquid contributed input during the monitor's development.

Display technology and design

The 25-inch QD-OLED panel offers 99 percent DCI-P3 color coverage, infinite contrast, and a V-stripe subpixel layout designed to keep text and images sharp. A matte anti-glare coating also helps minimize reflections, which can be particularly disruptive during competitive play, where even brief glare can affect performance.

The monitor features a DisplayPort 2.1 connection and supports NVIDIA G-Sync, helping to reduce screen tearing. It comes with a telescopic stand offering a wide range of adjustment, freeing up desk space for a diagonally placed keyboard. The bezels are notably narrow, and the monitor includes a rear headset hanger that flips out when needed.

Warranty and release

Dell is backing the monitor with a three-year warranty that also covers OLED burn-in. The Alienware AW2527HX is expected to become available in early 2027, though pricing has not yet been announced.
