Amazon has started rolling out the Adaptive Display feature to Fire TV Stick HD, improving text and UI readability for users.
Adaptive Display now available on Fire TV Stick HD
Amazon has officially begun rolling out the Adaptive Display accessibility feature to the Fire TV Stick HD. The feature, first teased in April during the company's preview event, is now available for the latest streaming dongle model.
Adaptive Display dynamically resizes text and user interface elements on the screen to enhance readability while keeping images and key art proportionally scaled. Multiple sizing options allow users to customize the experience for their eyes and cognitive needs.
This feature is considered one of the most notable improvements for the latest Fire TV model, which also features a more streamlined form factor and additional Alexa+ integrations. Amazon previously showcased a complete overhaul of the Fire TV UI at CES 206, followed by a rollout in February.
Adaptive Display is designed to help more viewers take full advantage of the revamped interface, making it more accessible for a wider range of users.
