Amazon cargo plane crashes after runway overrun in Miami
An Amazon Prime Air Boeing 767-300 cargo plane overran the runway and crashed while landing in Miami on Sunday after departing from Puerto Rico, catching fire and hitting several vehicles on a nearby road.

The Boeing 767-300 had departed from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico, before the incident occurred as it attempted to land in Miami.
After running off the runway, the aircraft struck multiple vehicles on a nearby road. Local fire rescue officials told the BBC's US news partner CBS that several people were injured and received treatment.
The plane subsequently caught fire. More than 60 members of the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue department responded to the scene to tackle the blaze and assist those affected.
Following the crash, the airport temporarily closed all of its runways and issued a full ground stop, halting both departures and arrivals. Officials have not yet released further details on the cause of the incident or the exact number of people affected.
