Study Reveals Cars Most Likely to Reach 300,000 km Without Major Repairs
An analysis by iSeeCars has identified the top ten vehicle models with the highest probability of reaching 300,000 kilometers without costly breakdowns. Japanese and American brands dominate the list, with no European manufacturers making the cut.

For drivers seeking a long-lasting vehicle, a new study offers valuable insights. Analytics firm iSeeCars compiled data to determine which car models are most likely to hit or exceed the 300,000-kilometer mark without significant technical issues. The resulting top 10 list was published by TopSpeed.
Topping the ranking is the Honda Accord, with a 37% chance of reaching 300,000 km. The model is praised for its spacious interior and comfort while maintaining excellent reliability. In second place is the Chevrolet Suburban at 30.6% – this SUV, known for its powerful V8 engines and robust construction, has proven its durability over decades.
Third place goes to the Honda Civic (29.7%), especially its 2000s and 2010s atmospheric engines. Fourth is the Toyota Camry (26.6%), followed by the Ford F-150 (25.9%), one of the world's best-selling pickups. Sixth is the Toyota Tacoma (25.3%), particularly popular in North America. Seventh is the Toyota Corolla (18.4%), long regarded as a benchmark of reliability.
Eighth is the Lexus LS (15.8%), ninth the Nissan Altima (15.3%), and tenth the Toyota Avalon (15.1%). Notably, no European brand made the list, as Japanese and American models outperformed them in longevity.
