Aminata and Intars Busulis release first joint duet "Tikai tevis dēļ"
Singers Aminata and Intars Busulis have teamed up for the first time, releasing a duet titled "Tikai tevis dēļ" ("Only for you") dedicated to the parent-child bond. The two will perform it live together at an autumn concert.
Latvian singers Aminata Savadogo and Intars Busulis have joined forces for the first time, releasing a joint song called "Tikai tevis dēļ" ("Only for you"). The lyrics were written by poet Marts Pujāts together with Aminata herself, while the arrangement was created by producer Jānis Jačmenkins, also known as JJ Lush. The music was composed jointly by Aminata, Busulis and JJ Lush.
Aminata says the idea for the song emerged after the birth of her child, an event that she describes as having given her life a completely different meaning. She explains that she wanted to create a song her own child could listen to one day, one that would remain relevant for a long time.
Busulis says working with Aminata felt natural and easy, since she already had a clear vision for the song and he simply added his own contribution to complete it. Aminata, for her part, reveals that she had wanted to record a duet with Busulis for some time, saying she loves how their voices sound together and believes they complement each other well musically.
The two artists first publicly announced their planned collaboration back in late spring, though at that point it was still only an intention. Now the song has been finished, and the singers have confirmed they will also perform it together live at an upcoming autumn concert.
