Fourth market day held at Anatomy Museum features unusual body-themed art
A market day was held near Riga's Anatomy Museum where visitors could buy unusual art pieces inspired by the human body. More than 40 artists took part in the event.
For the fourth time, a market day has taken place near the Anatomy Museum, with more than 40 artists offering their work for sale. The venue was chosen deliberately, as the museum's proximity gave the event a distinct body-related theme.
Visitors had the chance to purchase a wide range of items connected to human anatomy. Among the offerings were necklaces made from real bones, as well as artificially crafted pendants designed to resemble severed fingers or ears. Other art pieces on display were linked to internal organs, such as intestines.
The event drew significant attention from those who attended, with no visitor remaining indifferent to what was on offer. The unusual subject matter and the artists' creative approach to depicting the human body made the market day a distinctly unconventional cultural event.
