Anna Kuļberga, Wife of Latvian PM, Shines in Paris with Outfits by Local Designer
Anna Kuļberga accompanied her husband, Prime Minister Andris Kuļberga, to Paris, where she received compliments from French First Lady Brigitte Macron for her elegant attire designed by Latvian fashion designer Natālija Jansone.
Last week, Latvian Prime Minister Andris Kuļberga traveled to France to attend the Good Will Coalition leaders' meeting and celebrations marking Bastille Day. He was accompanied by his wife Anna Kuļberga, who later shared her impressions of the intense visit on social media.
Anna Kuļberga, who works in marketing at a company within the "Tet" group, chose outfits from Latvian designer Natālija Jansone's collection. Jansone's brand philosophy is to support rather than overshadow the woman wearing it, characterized by minimalist luxury and quiet strength.
The French First Lady Brigitte Macron personally complimented Anna on her elegant attire. In her social media posts, Kuļberga thanked Jansone for designing the garments.
The magazine "Kas Jauns" found that these outfits are freely available online, but their prices are steep: a black "Cerium" blouse costs €260, an "Indium" skirt – €200, blue "Ruthenium" trousers – €240, a light "Branium" top – €120, a "Thulium" jacket – €420, a black "Barium" top – €120, and "Niobium" trousers – €220.
Prime Minister Andris Kuļberga stated on social media that his wife's trip cost the state nothing, as he covered all expenses himself. He admitted it didn't seem right, but "that's how it is." Anna added that her husband reminded her it was not a vacation but work, from which something valuable for Latvia must be brought back.
