Andriy Onistrat resigns from army after transfer to paperwork role; sees it as punishment for supporting Fedorov
Andriy Onistrat, a senior officer and founder of a drone battalion, has filed a resignation after being transferred to the 17th Army Corps as a chief paper-pusher, which he views as punishment for supporting Mykhailo Fedorov and the Vyriv project.

Andriy Onistrat, a senior officer at the Central Innovation Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and founder of the "Shershni Dovbusha" drone battalion of the 68th Brigade, has announced his resignation from the military. He submitted his resignation after receiving an order transferring him to the 17th Army Corps, where he is to serve as the chief paperwork officer.
Onistrat believes this transfer is a punishment for his support of Digital Transformation Minister Mykhailo Fedorov and the Vyriv project. In a social media post, he stated that he prepared the resignation in 32 minutes using the Army+ app. He recalled that he had previously prepared to resign when the former commander of the 68th Brigade, Oleksiy Shum, attempted to take away his paid collective, but was saved by Fedorov's intervention, who approached then-Commander-in-Chief Valeriy Zaluzhnyi.
Onistrat expressed that it is difficult for him to make this decision, as he did not expect such developments. He emphasized that the transfer is unjustified and that he considers it retaliation for his stance.
