England secured a commanding 73-8 win against Fiji at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, putting an end to their five-match losing streak in Test rugby. The hosts ran in 11 tries, their largest ever victory over the Pacific Islanders.

Second-half substitute Henry Pollock stole the show with a hat-trick, while Immanuel Feyi-Waboso's acrobatic finish on the left wing drew loud cheers from the 50,209-strong crowd. Benhard Janse van Rensburg and Noah Caluori also scored on their Test debuts.

Fiji played half the match with 14 men after scrum-half Simione Kuruvoli was sent off for kicking out at Ellis Genge. Despite their famous win over England in August 2023 and a close match in the World Cup quarter-final, Fiji looked disjointed and ill-disciplined throughout.

The victory was comprehensive, but its significance must be measured against Fiji's poor performance. England's previous worst run of six consecutive defeats was avoided as they dominated from the start.
