England's potential opponents in the next round after qualifying
England could face DR Congo or Senegal in the next round, depending on the outcome of the final Group K match.

England have secured qualification to the next round of the tournament, and their opponent will be one of the eight best third-placed teams. According to BBC Sport, after Ghana qualified as third in Group L, England have only two possible opponents: the third-placed team in Group K or Senegal.
Opponent determination
If DR Congo beat Uzbekistan in their final Group K match at 00:30 BST on Sunday, England will play the third-placed team in that group. This is almost certain to be DR Congo, unless Portugal lose with a goal difference swing of seven, in which case England would face Portugal. If DR Congo draw or lose, England will play Senegal.
Knockout path
The path through to the quarter-finals is now set for England. After that match, they will play the winners of Mexico vs Ecuador in the last 16 in Mexico City on 5 July. The potential quarter-final would be in Miami on 11 July against Brazil, Japan, Ivory Coast or Norway.
