England, who finished top of Group L in the World Cup, are preparing for the knockout stage but will likely have to cope without both of their specialist right-backs for Wednesday's Round of 32 match against DR Congo. Manager Thomas Tuchel is facing a selection headache as Jerrell Quansah and Reece James are both nursing injuries.

Quansah started the match against Panama, which England won 2-0, but was forced off in the 63rd minute with an injury. While it has not been officially confirmed that he will miss the DR Congo game, the three-day gap between matches is considered insufficient for a full recovery. Additionally, the team's first-choice right-back Reece James is also carrying an injury, making his participation uncertain. Tino Livramento, another option, has suffered a serious injury and is out of the tournament.

Quansah was replaced by Jed Spence during the Panama game, and Spence is expected to start against DR Congo. Ezri Konsa is also a potential option for the position. England topped Group L with seven points, ahead of Croatia (5 points), Ghana (4 points), and Panama (0 points). The World Cup matches are broadcast live on "Go3 Sport" channels and the Go3 television platform.
