Friday's British newspapers carry another round of transfer rumours involving clubs in the English Premier League and elsewhere in Europe. These are media reports and speculation, not confirmed club decisions.

According to the reports, London clubs Chelsea and Arsenal, along with Manchester United, are monitoring 21-year-old Jacobo Ramon, a defender at Italian club Como. The Athletic writes that Manchester United are weighing up a January move for Leeds United forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin. Meanwhile, the Daily Mail says Chelsea could agree a £90m deal with Bournemouth for midfielder Alex Scott.

Other rumours

Catalan outlet 3Cat reports that Barcelona want Pedro Porro, the right-back who plays for Spain and Tottenham. Sky Germany says Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard could imagine playing for Bayern Munich in the future. The Mirror, for its part, writes that Harry Kane is set to see out the rest of his career in Germany with Bayern. The Athletic also notes that Chelsea goalkeeper Emi Martinez could return sooner than expected from his jaw injury.

Cup action and the Women's Champions League

In the Carabao Cup, England's league cup competition, Everton beat Newcastle United 3-1 to reach the quarter-finals, where they will face Fleetwood Town. Before the game, Everton dropped Jack Grealish for a breach of club discipline. In the quarter-final draw, Liverpool will host Bournemouth.

In the Women's Champions League, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain drew 1-1, with Khadija Shaw scoring City's opener. The result leaves Andree Jeglertz's side in danger of missing out on the top four.
