Apple has updated its device trade-in program, offering higher credit for a range of products including iPhones, iPads, Macs, Apple Watches, and select Android phones. According to 9to5Mac, some devices are now worth over $100 more than before.

The biggest jump is for the Mac Studio, whose trade-in value rose by $260 to $1,305 (previously $1,045). The MacBook Pro increased to $855 from $690, and the Mac Pro went up to $2,195 from $2,045. While most devices saw a modest increase of $5 to $20, a few gained more than $100.

Apple also added several new Android phones to its trade-in list: Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G ($95), Google Pixel 9 Pro XL ($315), Pixel 9 Pro ($305), Pixel 9 ($210), OnePlus 13 ($250), and OnePlus 13R ($165). Conversely, trade-in credit for some existing Android models was reduced, including the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G (now $125, down from $130) and Google Pixel 8 Pro (now $155, down from $165).

The higher trade-in values come after Apple raised prices earlier this year, with increases ranging from $30 to $4,200. The company also launched a new "Upgrade" leasing program last month, aimed at making its increasingly expensive devices more affordable.
