Apple's OLED iPad Mini Upgrade on the Horizon; Prices Set to Climb
According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple could unveil an OLED iPad Mini as early as October, marking the biggest upgrade since 2021. The device is expected to be pricier, as Apple has already raised prices across its lineup due to a RAM shortage.

Apple may release an iPad Mini with an OLED display as early as October, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. This would be the most significant update since the 2021 redesign.
However, the OLED iPad Mini is likely to come with a higher price tag. Apple recently increased prices across its entire product line, including the current iPad Mini, which now costs $100 more. According to Tim Cook, the price hikes are a response to the ongoing RAM shortage, which could last for several years.
Gurman also reports that Apple plans upgrades for the iPad Air and the base iPad early next year. The base iPad will receive a minor refresh with an updated processor but no major design changes. An eventual OLED upgrade for the iPad Air is also in the works, possibly next year.
Additionally, new iPad Pro and Apple Pencil models could arrive this spring.
