According to the latest Bloomberg report, Apple is preparing to refresh its Apple Watch lineup with minimal visual changes. The company is currently in "late-stage testing" for the new models—Series 12 (both Wi-Fi-only and cellular) and Ultra 4. The upgrades are expected to focus on performance and health-tracking features, driven by new chips that boost speed.

Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, in his Power On newsletter, notes that an Apple Watch SE update is not expected this year, as the SE 3 was just released last year. He also emphasizes that Apple has no major design overhaul planned for this year's models. The last significant processor change was in 2023 with the introduction of the S9 chip.

According to Gurman, a truly major redesign of the Apple Watch is still one to two years away. Along with that expected overhaul, Apple continues to work on a blood sugar detection feature that would allow non-invasive glucose measurement. However, this technology is still far from being implemented.
