Wired magazine has published a 2026 roundup of the best MagSafe wallets, highlighting the ESR Geo Wallet with Find My support and the OtterBox cactus leather model, while warning against several flawed products.
Tech publication Wired has compiled a comprehensive review of MagSafe wallets that attach to the back of iPhones. The list includes both recommended models and those to avoid.
Recommended Wallets
One standout is the ESR Geo Wallet Stand, which integrates Apple's Find My tracking. It holds up to three cards, but the reviewer successfully used four. It features magnetic charging pins, and the battery lasts three months, though a proprietary charger is required. The wallet also serves as a phone stand and includes a strap for a finger grip.
OtterBox Symmetry Series Cactus Leather MagSafe Wallet is thin and lightweight, made from cactus-based leather that feels similar to real leather. However, the author notes it's not as eco-friendly as claimed due to plastic layers. It has a fabric slot to push cards out and fits three cards.
Spigen MagSafe Classic LS Wallet takes design inspiration from classic Macintosh computers, comes in gray, holds up to three cards, and has a thumb notch for easy card access.
PopSockets Kick-Out PopWallet combines a wallet with a PopSockets grip and a hinge for kickstand mode. The reviewer had trouble getting it to sit correctly and it once fell off, so it comes with reservations.
