New Composition of the State Culture Capital Foundation Board Approved
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved changes to the board of the State Culture Capital Foundation, replacing members whose terms have expired.

On July 28, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a new composition of the board of the State Culture Capital Foundation (VKKF). The changes were necessary because several previous board members had completed their two-year term of office.
The new board includes Maija Pavlova, representative of the Latvian Creative Unions Council, and Ināra Dundure, advisor on education and culture from the Latvian Association of Local Governments. Additionally, eight newly elected chairs of VKKF sector expert commissions will join the board.
The VKKF board is responsible for the strategic management of the foundation and decision-making on funding cultural projects. The new composition will take effect after approval.
