A survey conducted by mobility service provider Europcar in collaboration with research company Norstat Latvija reveals that 67% of Latvian drivers spend up to 300 euros per month on car maintenance. The findings were announced by Vilis Bērziņš, head of Europcar in Latvia.

The survey indicates that for a majority of drivers, car maintenance costs are relatively manageable, though one-third of drivers spend more than 300 euros monthly. No further breakdown of expenses or average amounts was disclosed.

Such research helps to understand driver habits and the financial burden of car ownership. Europcar regularly conducts market research to better grasp customer needs.

In Latvia, cars are a primary mode of transport, and maintenance can be a significant household expense. The survey results suggest that most drivers can keep their monthly spending relatively low, pointing to possible economical driving practices or lower-cost repairs and servicing.
