Survey: Positive assessment of President Rinkēvičs' performance rises, but below first-year level
53% of Latvian residents rate the fulfillment of President Edgars Rinkēvičs' promises as good after three years – 4 percentage points up from 2025, but 3.7 points lower than after his first year in office.

More than half of respondents in a recent survey consider President Edgars Rinkēvičs' pledge implementation over three years as good – 53%. This figure is four percentage points higher than in 2025, when 49% gave a positive assessment.
However, compared to the evaluation after the president's first year, satisfaction has declined: then, 3.7 percentage points more respondents rated his promise fulfillment positively. The survey was conducted by SKDS in June of this year, commissioned by “What's happening in Latvia?”.
The poll involved 1005 Latvian residents and measured the overall assessment of the president's performance in fulfilling his promises over the three-year period.
