Survey: Only a quarter of Latvian employees fully disconnect from work while on vacation

Recruitment company SIA "Alma Career Latvia", operating under the CV.lv brand, has conducted a survey examining how people in Latvia spend their annual vacation. The results show that only a quarter, or 25%, of employees are able to completely disconnect from work-related matters while on vacation.

This means the majority of workers — three quarters — retain some connection to their job during time off, whether by continuing to think about work tasks or by actively dealing with work issues while supposedly on leave.

CV.lv is a recruitment and HR services company that regularly collects data on labor market trends and employee habits in Latvia.
