"Nakts arāji" Release Debut Album and New Music Video
The Latvian cold wave and industrial music collective "Nakts arāji" has released its debut album "Svētki ir galā" and a music video for the song "Mēs neesam cilvēki". The group invites fans to a concert at the "Laba daba" festival on July 17.

The music collective "Nakts arāji" has put out its first album titled "Svētki ir galā". The album contains 13 tracks, including previously released singles "Digitālā dzīve", "Zīdītāji", "Svētki ir galā", "Sekss nav mērķis", and "Vīrietis gados". The latter was presented at the 2025 "Zelta mikrofons" ceremony. The album is now available on all major streaming services.
The band members explain that their songs may resemble poetic posters used in mass demonstrations, but they are rooted in deeply personal impressions of individual and collective experiences in contemporary times. Their music blends cold wave and industrial elements while avoiding strict genre constraints.
Along with the album, the group has released a music video for the track "Mēs neesam cilvēki", directed by Laura Rožkalne-Ozola. A live performance will take place on July 17 at the "Laba daba" festival.
