Armenia's Central Election Commission Publishes Final Parliamentary Election Results
Armenia's Central Election Commission announced the final results of the June 7 parliamentary elections on Sunday evening, with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's Civil Contract party winning 49.7% of the vote.

Final Results
Armenia's Central Election Commission (CEC) published the final results of the parliamentary elections held on June 7 on Sunday evening. According to official data, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's Civil Contract party received 726,819 votes, or approximately 49.7%.
The opposition alliance Strong Armenia came second with 340,006 votes (23.3%), followed by the Armenia alliance with 144,983 votes (9.9%). The Prosperous Armenia party garnered 58,287 votes (4%).
CEC Validates Elections
CEC Chairman Vahagn Ovakimyan read the decision stating that no violations were recorded during the preparation and voting that could have affected the election results. Following the CEC's decision, six parties issued a statement claiming that the official data "do not reflect the true will of the people and the accurate election results."
Background
Pashinyan's party, which came to power in 2018, has strengthened ties with Western countries while facing challenges from predominantly pro-Russian opposition groups. The elections took place amid heightened pressure from Moscow on Yerevan due to Pashinyan's course toward rapprochement with the EU.
Earlier, the CEC invalidated vote counts at two polling stations on Thursday, citing clustering of military personnel after the stations closed. The Strong Armenia party, linked to Russian oligarch Samvel Karapetyan, submitted a request to the CEC to annul the parliamentary election results, alleging "widespread electoral violations."
