For those visiting medical institutions in Jūrmala, the entry fee to the city’s special regime zone can be avoided. The condition is that the vehicle must be registered in advance on the portal epakalpojumi.jurmala.lv.

The process involves three steps: first, register the vehicle on the portal; upon arrival at the institution, inform the reception to confirm the visit; after confirmation, the free entry is applied automatically.

The exemption covers several healthcare facilities, including Jūrmala Hospital, Dubulti Polyclinic, Dzintari Clinic, Vaivari National Rehabilitation Centre, Pallas Clinic, State Social Integration Agency (SIVA), Magnetic Resonance Centre – Visual Diagnostics, Amberdent Clinic, and Servisa Aģentūra AG (sports doctor Dr. Andris Vāvere).

Free entry is also available to people with Group I disability, children with disabilities, and persons with mobility impairment, provided they register their vehicle.

Some medical institutions are located outside the special regime zone or can be reached without crossing the paid area—for instance, via the bypass road or from the Ķemeri side. In such cases, neither the entry fee nor vehicle registration is required.
