Latvian citizens abroad can now apply for postal voting in Saeima elections
Starting August 29, Latvian citizens living or staying abroad can apply for postal voting in the 15th Saeima elections, the Central Election Commission announced.

Latvia's Central Election Commission (CVK) has announced that as of Saturday, August 29, citizens who are living or currently staying abroad during the 15th Saeima elections can submit applications for postal voting.
Applications can be filed through the state services portal Latvija.gov.lv. According to the CVK, the application window for this voting method will remain open until September 25.
Postal voting is one of the options the state offers to citizens who will not be in Latvia on election day, allowing them to take part in the Saeima elections without having to appear in person at a polling station or a Latvian diplomatic mission abroad.
