Aston Villa in talks with Chelsea for Garnacho loan
Aston Villa and Chelsea are in advanced talks for Alejandro Garnacho to move to Villa Park on loan with a potential permanent transfer, following Chelsea's record signing of Morgan Rogers.

Aston Villa are in advanced talks to sign Chelsea winger Alejandro Garnacho on loan with a potential obligation to buy. The 21-year-old Argentina international was made available for sale by Chelsea for £43 million last month, but the club are open to a move that could see him leave permanently, under certain conditions, even if it initially takes the form of a loan.
The negotiations come after Chelsea signed Morgan Rogers from Villa for a record £117 million fee on Tuesday night. If finalized, Garnacho would be Villa's fourth signing in a busy summer of transfers, following the arrivals of Johan Manzambi, Joao Gomes, and Modou Keba Cisse.
Player sales out of Villa total nearly £200 million, with Youri Tielemans, Donyell Malen, Enzo Barrenechea, and Lewis Dobbin all leaving the club. Chelsea have been keen to offload Garnacho despite signing him only last September in a £40 million deal from Manchester United, who would be due 10 percent of any eventual transfer fee. Garnacho's impact at Stamford Bridge has been limited to one Premier League goal, and the arrival of Morgan Rogers and Sporting winger Geovany Quenda have increased the need to reduce the squad size.
