Eight Latvian dart players head to the European Cup in the Faroe Islands
Eight Latvian national team dart players — four men and four women — are traveling to the European Cup in the Faroe Islands, with Roberts Buļko replacing the injured Ralfs Laumanis.
Eight members of Latvia's national darts team — four men and four women — have set off for the European Cup in the Faroe Islands.
The roster change followed a serious injury to national team player Ralfs Laumanis, whose recovery is expected to take considerable time. The board of the Latvian Darts Organization approved changes to the 2026 adult national team lineup, with Roberts Buļko stepping in for Laumanis. Buļko had already joined the team during preparations ahead of the Baltic Cup and the WDF European Cup.
Team lineup
The men's team will be missing its leader, Madars Razma, but includes Valters Melderis, who together with Razma reached the quarterfinals in pairs competition at the previous World Cup. The women's team includes finalists from both last year's and this year's Latvian national championship.
Latvia's women's team consists of Marta Roga (Vecumnieki Darts Klubs), Amanda Kirilova (ŠMK Priekule), Ieva Brikmane-Buklovska (ŠMSK Asās Adatas) and Irēna Bauze (ŠMK Priekule).
The men's team consists of Valters Melderis (ŠMSK Asās Adatas), Kristaps Mickus (ŠMK Priekule), Roberts Buļko (ŠMK Priekule) and Mārcis Štolceris (SK Vienradzis).
