Eighth Latvian Culture Week in Spain Held in Lloret de Mar
In early July, the eighth Latvian Culture Week in Spain took place in the coastal resort town of Lloret de Mar, bringing together Latvian traditions and community spirit.

The eighth edition of the Latvian Culture Week in Spain was held in early July in the Catalan resort city of Lloret de Mar. Event organizer Dana Tagle told Latvian Radio 2 journalist Baiba Palkavniece that the event was overflowing with emotions, participants, and Latvian traditions being showcased abroad. The culture week has been held annually for eight years, and this year's location was the coastal town of Lloret de Mar, a popular tourist destination. The event serves as a platform for members of the Latvian diaspora and others to experience and engage with Latvia's cultural richness, from traditional crafts to music and dance. Although this year's event has already concluded, organizers hope that such initiatives will continue to strengthen ties within the Latvian community abroad and promote Latvia's cultural heritage.
