The Pārsteigumkalns area in Ērgļi will host the eighth contemporary and experimental art festival ‘Optižūns’ on July 11. The event, now in its eighth year, will offer visitors concerts, performances, theatre shows, and environmental art installations.

These works are new creations by artists from Latvia and other countries. The festival will take place across several outdoor stages, providing a diverse program for fans of experimental art.

Organizers emphasize that ‘Optižūns’ has become a tradition, attracting both local and international artists each year. This year’s festival promises to be as rich with new ideas as previous editions. The exact program and list of artists have not yet been revealed, but organizers encourage following updates.
