President Donald Trump has reimposed a naval blockade against Iran, as both nations escalate their strikes, according to the situation that now resembles open conflict.

This development follows several days of attacks between the two sides. As a result, Washington and Tehran have essentially returned to the same state of confrontation that existed before the cease-fire agreement in June.

The June cease-fire had briefly reduced tensions, but now the conflict has resumed. Trump decided to reinstate the naval blockade as a response, while both sides continue military actions.

This escalation suggests that hopes for lasting peace have collapsed. The international community is now watching to see if the situation will expand into a broader war.
