US carries out more strikes on Iran after attacks in Strait of Hormuz
The US conducted another round of strikes on Iran on Wednesday, hours after President Trump said Iranian attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz ended the ceasefire.

The United States launched a fresh wave of strikes against Iran on Wednesday, July 8, just hours after President Donald Trump declared that recent Iranian attacks on vessels in the Strait of Hormuz had effectively ended the ceasefire. Military officials stated on social media that the strikes aim to "further degrade" Iran's capability "to threaten freedom of navigation" in the strategic waterway. The developments were discussed on France 24's program "A propos," where Yinka Oyetade interviewed Negah Angha, a Visiting Fellow at King's College London.
