US Ambassador's Residence in Tallinn Hosts Independence Day Reception
On July 2, a reception at the US ambassador's residence in Tallinn marked the 250th US Independence Day, attended by Estonian President Alar Karis.

On Thursday, July 2, the residence of the United States Embassy in Tallinn, located in Maarjamäe, hosted a reception in honor of the 250th US Independence Day. It was the first such reception for US Ambassador to Estonia Roman Pipko, who arrived in Tallinn in November 2025. Notably, the ambassador was born and raised in Estonia.
Among the distinguished guests was Estonian President Alar Karis. The highlight of the event was a 110-kilogram cake decorated with strawberries and whipped cream. The US celebrates Independence Day on July 4.
