Mike Waltz, the United States Ambassador to the United Nations and former national security advisor to President Donald Trump, gave an exclusive interview to Latvian Public Media (LSM). In the interview, Waltz emphasized that the United States will absolutely honor its commitments, including those to the Baltic region, and will stand with the Baltic states in the event of a threat. Regarding Russia's war in Ukraine, Waltz stated that it must be resolved through robust diplomacy, while acknowledging that diplomacy does not always succeed.
