The necessary security updates have been installed on Latvia's Unified Website Platform (TVP). As a result, the websites of state and municipal institutions hosted on the platform can again be opened from within Latvia. The information came from Madara Krutova, a spokesperson for Cert.lv, the cyber incident prevention institution.
Access has also been restored to the Latvian public media portal Lsm.lv and the website 112.lv.
At the same time, some Latvian digital resources remain subject to access restrictions from abroad. The source does not specify which resources are affected or how long the restrictions may last.
The source also does not give the cause of the incident or the circumstances that made the security updates necessary.
