Anti-corruption investigators have reported a new finding concerning the inner circle of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov: his mistress and stepdaughter have reportedly held citizenship of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) since 2022.

According to the investigation, both women obtained UAE citizenship secretly, without any public disclosure. The report does not specify how exactly the citizenship was arranged, nor does it explain why the matter had remained undisclosed until now.
