"Auda" and "Liepāja" Secure Wins in Latvian Football Virslīga Round 24
"Auda" defeated "Daugavpils" 1-0 at home, while "Liepāja" beat "Jelgava" 2-0 away.
On Sunday, in the 24th round of the "Tonybet" Latvian Football Virslīga, "Auda" and "Liepāja" claimed victories.
"Auda" edged out "Daugavpils" 1-0 at home. The only goal came in the 37th minute when Henoks Lusweki was first to the ball in the penalty area after the opponent's goalkeeper's save and slotted it into the net.
Meanwhile, "Liepāja" dominated away against "Jelgava", winning 2-0. In the very first minute, after a dangerous attack, Oloko Ede scored from close range following a pass from Danils Patijčuks. In the 27th minute, Amar Haidara set up Abioduns Ogunniji in the box for a precise finish.
On Monday, matches are scheduled between "Tukums 2000" and RFS, and "Grobiņa" vs "Ogre United". The game between "Super Nova" and "Riga" has been postponed to a later date.
