The Tech3 KTM team has signed one of Moto2's brightest young riders, 21-year-old Australian Senn Agius, who will join the squad in MotoGP next season.

Agius has established himself as one of the most promising talents in the Moto2 class in recent years, claiming wins and podium finishes both last season and this year. In 2023 he won the Moto2 European Championship, and he made his world championship debut in 2024. He currently sits third in the Moto2 standings.

Reaction from the rider and the team

Commenting on the move to MotoGP, Agius said the moment marks the fulfillment of a lifelong dream, built on many years of hard work. He expressed gratitude to the team's representatives for believing in him and giving him this opportunity.

Tech3 team boss Steiner also welcomed the signing, saying the team believes Agius has what it takes to make a strong step up to MotoGP. He noted that the rider has shown impressive speed and maturity in Moto2, but what truly stood out was his determination to keep improving and his work ethic in pursuit of success.

With this contract, Tech3 KTM strengthens its lineup for next season by placing its trust in one of Moto2's most promising riders as he moves up to the premier class of motorcycle racing.
