Bus driver recounts accident on Kārļa Ulmaņa Street in Riga
A collision between a bus and a car occurred Wednesday evening in Riga; the bus driver shared details with the program "Degpunktā".

On Wednesday, July 2, in the evening, a traffic accident involving a bus and a Volkswagen car took place on Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve in Riga.
The bus driver told the program "Degpunktā" that he was driving at approximately 65-70 km/h before the accident. Suddenly he heard a bang, after which the car lost control and crashed into the right lane barrier. The noise turned out to be a rear left tire blowout.
No one was injured in the incident – neither the car driver nor the roughly ten bus passengers. Further details are available in the video report.
