Autoeksperts, previously known for its service center in Purvciems on Gunāra Astras Street, has recently opened a new branch in a warehouse area close to Riga Airport. Service manager Mārtiņš Logins said the new location is more convenient for clients living on the left bank of the Daugava, who no longer need to travel to Astras Street.

Because the service center is just a few hundred meters from the airport, customers can leave their cars for repair while traveling and pick them up upon return, already fixed.

However, the new branch requires qualified staff, which is hard to find. Logins noted an industry-wide shortage of electricians, service advisors, and mechanics. Cars are becoming technologically more complex, especially electric and hybrid vehicles, which require specialized knowledge. Simply tightening bolts is no longer enough, making skilled specialists a crucial part of the service.
